Many of us remember the Brookhaus as V’s Doghouse, prior to a fire that totally destroyed the property back in the fall of 2014. Owned by the Vella family, it was rebuilt and opened once again, in the summer of 2015 as the Brookhaus Sports Pub & Restaurant. As great as V’s was, the Brookhaus is bigger and better in many ways.
Once of the most popular places in the Berkshires, the Brookhaus is “family friendly” and across from the Berkshire Mall entrance. The Brookhaus features a large menu, great food, a full bar, KENO, ATM, lottery scratch ticket machine and 20+ flat screen High Def TV’s, tuned to all your favorite sports channels, all in a relaxed atmosphere! During the warmer weather, they have a large outdoor area with an enclosed pavilion, offering food, a full bar, KENO, flat screen HD TV’s and outdoor seating.
Whether indoors or out, the staff is great and the service is excellent. They carry a large selection of ever changing craft beers on tap as well as daily dining specials. As a long time patron, I can say the portions are plenty and the pricing is affordable. They have live music various at various times, depending on the season, so I would suggest calling them for current entertainment and events. It’s a fun place, with a nice local following and plenty of area visitors that help make it a great place day or night!
