Great Italian Food And A Short Ride From Tanglewood And The Norman Rockwell Museum.

For lunch, we recently had the pleasure of dining at Amici Italian Restaurant, located in West Stockbridge, MA. Amici is a short ride from both Tanglewood and the Norman Rockwell Museum and offers outdoor, seasonal dining. Upon entering, we were graciously greeted by staff and made to feel genuinely welcome.

To start, we ordered the Zucchini Sticks, which were beer battered to perfection and served with a delectable house-made tomato sauce. The zucchini was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, making it a good choice.

For the main course, we choose the Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the Alfredo sauce was rich and creamy, coating the fettuccine nicely, not leaving it dry and lacking flavor. The tender grilled chicken added a delightfully seasoned flavor that complemented the Fettuccine beautifully. It was a large, hearty, satisfying dish that most would find hard to finish.

In addition to the Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken, we also ordered their “Special,” Crab Meat and Shrimp Ravioli in a Butter & Sage Sauce. The ravioli was filled generously with delicious crab meat and shrimp, and the butter and sage sauce added a delightful richness to the dish. Each bite was loaded with flavor and the Butter & Sage Sauce was a perfect match and done right!

Aside from the outstanding food, the service at Amici was truly exceptional. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of excellent. Whether you choose to sit at the bar, at one of their great window tables, or an inner table, the atmosphere is relaxing. We have dined at Amici’s twice and will certainly be back. You will find plenty of free onsite parking, a great sitting bar, weekend brunch, and friendly service. If you haven’t been, we strongly recommend a visit.
