Set against the backdrop of the majestic and natural beauty of the Pontoosuc Lake, The Lake House Guest Cottages Of The Berkshires offers a unique and intimate atmosphere for your special day making your celebration not just a wedding but also an experience.
We’re a weekend event venue designed to sleep up to 50 guests and up to 100 additional guests for the day of the event. In total, our property can accommodate 150 guests as an outdoor venue using our event tent and 60 guests for an entirely indoor event.
Our tent is a state of the art, brand new event tent. It has beautiful sides with large windows that can be closed shut allowing for parties and ceremonies even in inclement weather. The tent is outfitted with basic lighting and an artificial turf flooring.However, additional lighting and decor are easily added if rented. Regardless of how your wedding is organized at the Lake House, your special day will be located in the center of the Berkshires, with all of the area’s beautiful sights within 30 minutes of the property.

The Gateways Inn is the perfect place to celebrate special occasions year-round. We specialize in elegant weddings, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, luncheons or teas and business meetings. Anniversary or birthday parties become even more special when held at the Gateways Inn.
Neoclassical in style, the Inn holds many Old World architectural features. The Tiffany-style leaded rose windows that flank the entrance were created in France. Westerly evening sun will highlight romantic and lovely portraits through these unique windows. The balconied, wraparound staircase in the entrance hall was built on designs from Stanford White. Draped in tulle, ivy, lush greenery or just left alone, the staircase is a lovely backdrop for wedding photos.
Our window enclosed terrace room adjacent to our Rockwell dining room is perfect for wedding ceremonies for up to 50 guests. For couples seeking a cozier atmosphere, our beautiful lobby area can accommodate a ceremony for up to 80 guests.
Our large main dining room can seat up to 80 guests. The champagne beige table linens highlight the tableware, fine china and silver. Adjoining our main dining room is our Rockwell dining room which can accommodate an additional 20 guests. French doors on each side of its fireplace lead to and from the main dining room. Our terrace room is the perfect space for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and/or desserts, accommodating up to 125 guests when opened up to the bar area for a cocktail hour.

Typically, the couple, their families and friends, takes over the inn for two nights so that all of our attention is focused on you, your wedding and your guests. Upon arrival guests are treated to welcome refreshments. A rehearsal dinner may be served at the inn or at one of the many fine restaurants in Lenox. The wedding is usually held the next day with a reception following either at the Inn or in one of the nearby restaurants.
The Innkeeper and Assistant Innkeeper are available to help you plan your dream wedding. Innkeeper, Amy Lindner-Lesser, is a Massachusetts licensed Justice of the Peace, and is available to officiate at your individually designed wedding. We can assist you with our knowledge of local resources to secure a florist, photographer, wedding cake, as well as with any other special touches to make your wedding dreams come true. The Garden Gables Inn

We welcome small, private wedding parties interested in renting the entire Inn for a two-night minimum stay. The Inn is available for wedding parties from November through mid-June.
We can accommodate up to 30 guests in our 14 guest rooms. Fully-catered dinners for up to 24 can be hosted in our dining room and an additional 20 on the adjoining, glass-enclosed porch. There is also the option of using our outdoor dining patio for groups up to 24 in good weather, during the spring and September. Our Lenox Petit Spa offers a range of massage, facial, makeup and hairdressing, and body work services for your wedding party, right on site at the Inn. And, our landscaped grounds offer a relaxed setting for outside gatherings.
The village of Lenox offers many resources right outside our doorstep. Beautiful, historic churches of several denominations are within 5-10 minutes walking distance. On a stroll through the Village, you will encounter many small shops, galleries, and restaurants.
For larger wedding parties held elsewhere in the area, the Garden Gables Inn can be the ideal home base for your bridal party, rehearsal dinner and other smaller events.

Gedney Farm is an ideal destination for a Berkshire wedding weekend. Located in the “Old Berkshire” village of New Marlboro, now a National Historic District, Gedney Farm is a complex of spectacular period architecture with gambrel slate and cedar roofs, and beautifully detailed dormers and cupolas. The property is comprised of two Normandy-style barns and surrounded by 37 acres of pastures and high open meadows. The former dairy barn, now houses 16 guest rooms and suites, all with private bath, many with granite fireplaces and large, tiled whirlpool tubs.
Across the courtyard from the Lodging Barn is the Event Barn, originally a horse barn, which has been renovated for use as a private event venue. The Event Barn features three levels inside. Each level opens up onto the other, the ground level spills out through large sliding glass doors onto garden and courtyard areas where guests can enjoy late afternoon cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Dinner and dancing take place inside the barn on the main and loft levels.
The Event Barn can accommodate up to 250 persons for a “sit down” wedding event with additional space for band and dancing; larger parties are easily accommodated in conjunction with a tent. Event space is fully equipped with AC and heat so that inclement weather and seasonal temperatures are easily managed.
