Fiddleheads Grille is a Southern Berkshire restaurant that continues to impress us with each visit. Whether we’re enjoying a leisurely lunch, a delightful dinner or one of their great cocktails, it never fails to deliver a fantastic experience. Great Barrington has no shortage of great restaurants and Fiddleheads is one of them!
The quality of the food at Fiddleheads Grille lives up to its reputation. During our recent visit, we savored a New York Strip Steak with Gorgonzola Butter that was cooked to perfection. The accompanying mashed potatoes and vegetables were the ideal complement to the tender and flavorful steak. Equally impressive were the Seared Sea Scallops over Sweet Corn Risotto, a heavenly combination of delicate scallops and creamy risotto.
In addition, for the seafood enthusiast, the Clam Strips at Fiddleheads Grille are not to be missed. The clams were hand-bread and fried to a golden crispness, served with coleslaw and fries, providing the perfect accompaniments. Now, I must admit that we opted to skip the fries and add an order of their amazing onion rings. Their onion rings are cut shoestring style and coated in their own perfectly seasoned dredge. If you like onion rings, then you need to try theirs! And let’s not forget their Ribs St. Louis, which were slow smoked and came with a mouthwatering BBQ sauce. The ribs were tender, juicy, and full of flavor, making every bite an absolute delight.
Beyond the amazing food, the overall atmosphere of Fiddleheads Grille sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. The ambiance is simple and inviting, with warm lighting and tasteful decor. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the comfortable and relaxed vibe of the restaurant. In the wintertime, enjoy their warming fireplace, adding ambience to the dining room as well as the bar side of the restaurant. Fiddleheads is a favorite of visitors and locals alike, with plenty of free parking. Owners Cindy Joyner and Dave Pullaro do a great job of making you feel welcome and caring about your dining experience.
