A Great Mexican Restaurant In Downtown Great Baerington.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Fiesta Bar & Grill Mexican Restaurant, located in downtown Great Barrington and had a wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere is simple and friendly, the staff is great, and the food is delicious.

We started our visit with margaritas and ordered their House Margarita, but with a twist. They have an extensive list of tequilas which one would expect in a Mexican restaurant and spotted Grand Mayan Tequila on their list, which, in my opinion, is one of the best tequilas for the money. The Margaritas were smooth, and I highly recommend giving this one a try.

Now, onto the main event – the food. First, I must highlight the Mariachi Steak, a 12 oz. NY Strip Steak cooked to perfection, tender, and tasty. Topped with their homemade rancho sauce, it added a layer of flavor that complemented the meat beautifully. Served with rice and refried beans, it was a hearty and satisfying dish.

Next up, the Tequila Camarones. Large shrimp in a tantalizing cilantro cream sauce, which was infused with mushrooms and, of course, tequila. The combination of flavors was exquisite, and the shrimp were tender and cooked to perfection. Paired with rice and refried beans, this dish will be ordered again!

Though we don’t often do so, we must complement our server, Elli. She provided excellent service throughout our meal, ensuring that our needs were met and offering suggestions from the menu with a friendly smile.

FYI, they offer daily specials, every Tuesday is “Taco Tuesday”, and although parking can be hit or miss downtown, there is a limited amount of free public parking in the back.

Overall, our experience at Fiesta Bar & Grill was top-notch. The food was delicious, the drinks were fantastic, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Whether you’re looking for a quick lunch or a great night out, put Fiesta Bar & Grill on your must try list.
